alex saavedras going to sit back, sign a contract with this band and collect, im sure.
Someone (December 29, 2004)
This would be awesome, but I really can't see Geoff Rickley singing for a grind band.
Someone (December 29, 2004)
oh good two members of two shitty bands starting a shittier one. MTV here they come!
Someone (December 29, 2004)
If you think that some guys from some crappy big bands are gonna start a "grind" band thats actually worth hearing, think again.
Someone (December 29, 2004)
this is going be like the time that blink 182 started that hardcore/fugazi influnced band. I.E. it wont be grind at all.
FortyMinutesWest (December 29, 2004)
You guys are mssing the point here. Kiss It Goodbye! Also, everyone should pick up the new Tower of Rome album, it fucking slays.
Someone (December 29, 2004)
it'd be sweet if that douche daryl didnt have 8374234807234 shitty side projects and maybe focused on one solid band way to spread yourself thin assybleedy
Someone (December 29, 2004)
I have a feeling this is going to be as grind as boxcar racer was (according to tom) like refused.
Someone (December 29, 2004)
Does Geoff even scream? ive seen them live twice and i thought ive only seen the bass and guitar players doing the screaming
Someone (December 29, 2004)
Well, you gotta give these jokers some credit, their little screamo trend is dying and they're not jumping ship. Maybe they really actually enjoy the kind of music they make. All you can do is hope that this doesn't sound like a dying giraffe.
Someone (December 29, 2004)
Judging from the peole involved, this should suck. Which means it will probably sell like crazy.

im thinking geoff will be playing guitar and daryl will be singing. i know geoff can play guitar... i dunno if daryl can do anything other than play piano and sing

eric cooper was in kiss it goodbye for like a day. i don't think he should be even be able to stick the name of the almight KIG at the end of his.
vocalyouth (December 30, 2004)

OMG!!111 YOU MENTIONED ALTERNATIVE PRESS IN THE NEWS STORY@#@$#(&^ TOTAL SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION, PUNKNEWS ARE SYUCH SELLOUTS@)#(*U@_(#$*)Y@$(*) By the way, I think it's funny that everyone here is commenting about "I heard suchandsuch," etc, when this news was nowhere until Geoff leaked it to us, and I wrote the blurb in the new issue of AP. So anyone who's saying "Well, I heard..." is a total fucking liar [unless they're saying something like "All three are singing," which is something that was published in AP - in which case, those people are sellouts for reading our corporate-rock mag]. Oh, also: Grind is to Charles Bronson as screamo is to Saetia. -Scott

i liked these enzymes. there was way more to be skeptical of there and it was awesome. this could be good.
Someone (December 30, 2004)
geoff is a very talented guy. i dont like daryl, but whatever and having chee from the number twelve on it, im pretty sure they'll do a nice thing, not a mtv-oriented band..
Someone (December 30, 2004)
first head automica. now this. i agree with the post a ways down. a new thursday and glassjaw records would be a better idea. i also have 10$ on this never happening. WNB -jd

Look, emotards...you already sing off-key anyway, so by playing screamo and screaming out of key you aren't really changing much. You are still a pussy, and your lyrics are utter ass. I have serious doubts that either of these two dipshits own "From enslavement to Obliteration".
SteveJonesTheRealBones (December 30, 2004)
so i dont have to read all these comments to know that most of you pussies would dig this shit. - jones the fucking bones - stevejones8770@yahoo.com

I love how people 5 years ago were like, "Man, wouldn't it be cool if bands screamed and sang?" And now it's, "Like OMIGOD that is so played out!" How about everyone stop giving a crap about trends because all the music we listen to sucks anyway. From Saetia to Slayer to Simple Plan it all blows and Aaron Copland would love to drop a duece on everything any of us listen to. If you don't like something, shut up, and find something you actually like and tell us why you like it! How's that for a twist!
Someone (January 10, 2005)
i love glassjaw. i love daryl....but i don't understand why is he coming out with all these side projects? head automatica, geometry and now this? why doesn't glassjaw just stay together and come out with their next album. wasn't supose to come out like two years ago???? damn, well anyways i think this is stupid, the only reason being, is cuz i love glassjaw and i need new shit , i want new shit! like why though?? is this really true? like how can daryl juggle all these progects? hes ill and currently touring with HEAD AUTOMATICA? and like hes a DJ on the side too, like i dunno. |
