Break-ups: No-Cash (2002-2005)

VMS Records' band No-Cash has called it quits. The band's website is down so there's no official word yet on the why. The band released a full length on VMS in 2003 titled Run Your Pockets.

In other VMS news the release of the previously announced Electric Frankenstein EP Super Kool has been pushed back to January 18th. It will feature two new songs, four rare songs from overseas singles and three covers (of The Nomads, Sex Pistols and Black Sabbath). Johnny Ace created the artwork for the release.

i saw electric frankenstein recently, and after the show i asked sal why they weren't selling the ep. he didn't seem too happy to be asked that question, so i just let it go. it's nice to see vms is finally getting off their asses and putting this thing out.

Saw No-Cash once. Put on an ok show, but they were the biggest rockstar assholes I've ever met. And they took no requests and charged like 3 bucks for a fucking patch. The lead singer seemed constantly paranoid and was unable to look at anyone in the audience. And the drummer insisted on taking his shirt off, which was gross because he was fat. Their lead guitarist is really fucking good though.

No-Cash was a good band. They weren't a Leftover Crack knock off either. Every band sounds like another one. They just had a similiar style and similiar thoughts on politics. Southpaw954

dude are you an idot. I no ca$h they were fucking amazing. I'm probably one of thier biggest fans but anyone can tell they are an LOC rip off band. They do straight down to the vox. If you can't see it. you've gotta be blind or deaf whatever. this sucks though

I know they sound similiar. My point was that all bands sound like another band. They shouldn't get ripped for being influenced by another band. I definately see how they are similiar. Its a sub genre of punk. I hope other bands that sound like this form. Southpaw954
