by Island

Thrice have revealed some information about their upcoming full length for Island.

The band has over twelve tracks prepared for the record, and vocalist Dustin Kensrue had this to say:

There will still be screaming and heavy stuff, but it's going to be a lot less [of a] metal vibe, There will probably be some strings and horns. We're trying to pull from a lot of different places. We like jazz a lot, so we'll pull some from that, and [from] bands like Talk Talk's later stuff.

The full length is the follow up to 2003's Artist and the Ambulance, and the band is documenting the progress of the recording in a studio journal. Thrice will also release the DVD If We Could Only See Us Now, on March 29th
