Steve Diggle of the Buzzcocks will release his new solo full length Serious Contender this coming March 14th in the UK via EMI. You can download clips of the songs "Serious Contender," "See Through You" and "Jetfigher" on his website. There's no word on a North American release of the record yet. Diggle will play a special London show at the Metro on March 10th in support of the release, with May tour dates expected to be announced soon.

Buzzcocks are currently working on their follow up to 2003's self titled record, tentatively titled Flat Pack Philosophy. Check their website for updated March / April tour dates.
