Lujo Records has signed Chicago trio Baby Teeth and will be releasing their record The Baby Teeth Album on June 7th. The band was recently featured on the cover of Chicago alternative paper Red Eye and in a spread in Punk Planet. Time Out New York described them by saying "Imagine swampy blues-funk with a little Elton John swagger and a whole lot of '70s am-radio shazam, and you'll pretty much be there." You can download the songs "Celebrity Wedding" and "Dream" on the band's website.
Baby Teeth will appear on the WGN morning show on March 23, and they will perform at SXSW (along with now-label mates Ateriavia and the Gena Rowlands Band). Check the festival's website for details soon. Lujo Records (8 comments)

not punk, but not bad either..... their tunes are pretty good and sounds like what i imagine my parents listening to when they were in their 20's.....

The new Punk Planet with Slint on the cover is a really good issue. Their article on alt-country is top notch.
