Why do you feel that only white people can play punk music? I don't think color should be an issue. I've always thought the punk/ska/hardcore scene was about equality across the board. I like it. Makes me tap my foot. Some southern dixieland thrown in with some anthem-ic punk. If they really did grow up in a ghetto/urban area, and they play punk music, i would have to think they appreciate and respect it; because if we are to assume like you that white people play punk, and black people rap, then these 3 must have received very little respect/appreciation in their early days and must really enjoy the music to still be doing it, and doing it better than a lot of other bands out there. Especially when you consider who they are touring with, bands that derive their sound from a genre of music that doesn't see race as a reason for discrimination, and bands that are unquestionably

see these guys live all the time in Orlando...they are a good live band...the album is a good jumping off point for them, but other than a few select gems, need a little work mostly from a producing stand point...they need to get someone who has worked with more than punk bands to take advantage of all the different genres they mix in live...touring since they recorded this album has really tightened up their sound....just saw them last night with Big D and the Kids Table at Will's Pub in Orlando, Florida and they kicked ass...

werd. I saw them live by accident in Berkeley, CA and their live performance was fucking incredible; they brought the shit down. I'm not even really into modern punk, but I'm definitely going to see them next time they come around.
