Nitro signs No Trigger

Nitro Records has signed central Massachusetts' No Trigger. The band is currently writing for their debut full-length and followup to Extinction In Stereo, the Bigmouth Japan-released compilation EP distributed through Nice Guy in the US. The band, who has relaunched their website as well, will then head in the studio later this year for a release in early 2006.

If it's related to No Trigger then my guess is Set Your Goals since those guys got a similar feel to No Trigger.

Well, just to be covering all bases, i don't know if the trend changed yet, but just tell me. Is it a Posicore band? (a band who bought comeback kids latest cd and hails with honor as a "classic" band). That should cover all bases.

Would this band also be going to the "Comeback Kid show" rather than the Bane show? And when talking to them about bands like 7 Seconds they respond with an answer like, "I don't lisen to 'punk' anymore"? And has never heard of the bands Crucial Youth or Good Clean Fun? Not knocking Comeback Kid or With Honor at all, both are great bands, but the new fans are starting to make me a tad nauseated. On that note...Verse is a fucking awesome band!

obviously you don't know that many bands "out there." i'm not saying they don't deserve it, cuz i love no trigger, but i can think of a few other bands that deserve to be on bigger labels that aren't.

saw these guys hanging out at wendy;s in dallas one time. didnt know who they were they gave me a demo, and it reminded me of strike anywhere. a fucking well deserved sign!!! good job nitro.

Me and my friend saw this band a couple years ago when they came down to FL and after we left he commented that they were catchy/good enough that they could probably get signed to a recognizable label. In retrospect that was pretty prophetic. Good live band, too.
