Astro Magnetics, the label imprint owned by
Thursday frontman Geoff Rickley, has posted the first video from The Valley Arena. The Long Beach-based band will release their debut Take Comfort In Strangers on April 26th.
The video was directed by Roboshobo (Robert Schober) and you can see it here:

I like the music but I find the video kind of funny cause it seems more crazy and wild than the band is.

It really sounds pretty Fugazi-influenced, except you have to imagine Guy Picciotto singing all the songs and sounding about fourteen. That said, it's more interesting then I expected and sounds absolutely nothing like Thursday. 1+ Reply

I'm giving it 2.5 stars because it kept me interested enough to see how it was going to turn out, and I think the ending was satisfactory. Just don't think very hard about it. Maybe I'm being a little harsh.shit i dunno maybe this is gonna blow ass i havent heard the whole cd but the preview of it doesnt seem to interest me.

pretty boring, as expected. song and album titles, and band names are so unoriginal these days. even if the music sucks, at least name it creatively, jees. it's the least anyone can do.

reminds me of a joggers video i saw a long time ago....but it was so long ago, that the videos might be completely different...i will wait to see if this band is popular and by whom and see what kind of clothes they wear, as well as what kind of tatts they do or do not have before i decide if i like this band or not - jones the bones - stevejones8770@yahoo.com 1+ Reply
