Escapi Music has set a July 12th date for the upcoming release from New York City's The Dictators. The band was formed in 1974 as an homage/response to the MC5, Flamin Groovies, New York Dolls and the Stooges. and after reforming in 1991, the band has been touring annually.

The record, titled Viva Dictators is a fifteen track live album from a band that is described as "pop punk for grownups, with worldly lyrics that may leave younger listeners in the cultural dark."
