A date has been set for the upcoming DVD release of Death Cab For Cutie documentary/road trip DVD Drive Well, Sleep Carefully - On the Road with Death Cab for Cutie. The disc is set to be released by Plexifilm.
The film which will premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival on June 10th will see DVD release on July 26th. It will include the film which is has filmmaker Justin Mitchell recording dozens of shows on recent tours and lengthy interviews with the band in their hometown of Seattle. As well, the DVD is expected to include two hours of Death Cab for Cutie live performances, interviews, outtakes, and extras. Death Cab for Cutie, who recently signed to Atlantic Records most recently released Transatlanticism in 2003 and the live John Byrd EP this past March. Plexifilm (17 comments)

The John Byrd EP was pretty enjoyable, as it captured Death Cab's live show pretty well...heres hoping that the docu-dvd will be as tasty. | Features
