Make Believe to release 'Shock of Being' on August 23rd; touring in June

Make Believe the band including Nate and Tim Kinsella has set an August 23rd date for their upcoming full length debut. The record will be released by Flameshovel and Polyvinyl on CD and Vinyl respectively and was produced by Steve Albini.

The band, who recently completed a series of dates with The Good Life, has also posted the artwork, track listing and a song from the record as well as the dates for a June run with MeWithoutYou and Veda.

i saw tim kinsella crack the bass player bobby's skull open with his mic stand during a show in chicago. best show i've EVER seen. EVER. i am stoked for this record.

Polyvinyl is going kind of downhill if you ask me. Didn't care for the ZZZ or Picastro. They were the best label when they had Matt Pond PA, Aloha(still here I know), Ivory Coast and Sunday's Best.

Heck No. New label. Last year he(they) put out his(their) best album yet. They are recording a new album right now and it should be released this fall/winter.
