Blackout and Creep Records have announced the re-issues of Plow United's Goodnight Sellout (which features the material from their 1995 self-titled debut) and 1997's Narcolepsy. Both releases should be available on July 26th of this year.
Plow United got together in 1992 under the name Plow in Wilmington, Delaware. They released their first 7" in 1993 and their debut album in `95. While together they toured the US and Canada, playing shows with bands like At The Drive In, Lagwagon, Lifetime and Good Riddance. The band, who made their home in West Chester, PA, split in 1997. Seriously awesome news. It was hard for other bands to have to play before or after these guys...

this is possibly the worst teamup of 2 labels. neither label puts any thought or care into their last bunch of releases, if it wasnt for shitty reissues blackout wouldnt be around. and if it wasnt for a shitty half assed run studio they would be able to put anything out. a match made in heaven. reissue reissue reissue, sure plows a good band but man these label should let a label put it out that will promote it. disaster in the making.

I don't know if anyone has any connections to those guys anymore, but we would be super honored if they did get back together, at least for one show. My friends and I are having a Walter Krug reunion show this summer, on July 2nd, 2005, and we started talking about how it would be so cool to have Plow play too. Since there is no time to get in contact with them now, this is a mere fantasy. However, they are very much welcome to play at SlaskiFest 9 next year (hell, we would find room for them if it materialized before July). Even if they weren’t to do our show, we here in the Lehigh Valley would love to see them play at any venue. If word happens to get back to them, let them know about www.slaskifest.com. We would be ecstatic. | Features
