Takeover has confirmed the fact that Staring Back has signed to the label. The band had previously issued three releases via Lobster including 2002's On, their previous full length Many Will Play and their debut The Mean Streets of Goleta.

Whats up with Takeover signing every "kinda almost made it but really didn't because they weren't good enough" band from the latter half of the 90's and the first half of this decade? They didn't sell records the first time around, and they won't now. 2+ Replies

Sweet, now if they can only put out another album before everybody leaves the band it would be great. "On" is probably one of the best albums I own, I've never gotten tired of it. 5+ Replies
