The Ducky Boys have announced several new projects for the future. Later this year the band plans to re-release 1998's Dark Days with 10 extra tracks, retitled Dark Days and Lonely Nights. Following that they will be writing the follow up to Three Chords and the Truth, with plans to record this winter.

In addition vocalist Mark Lind and guitarist Doug Sullivan are each working on solo albums for release in the fall. Lind commented that Sullivan's material reminds him of Joe Strummer's final band the Mesceleros.

Second guitarist Steve Young recently amicably left the Ducky Boys in order to focus on his other band, Confront. Ducky Boys have no plans to replace him, and will carry on as a three piece.
