Escapist Records has announced a tribute to long-running metal/hardcore act Integrity who have been on hiatus since 2003's To Die For.
According to the label, participants include Alcatraz, Allegiance, Congress, Crowd Deterrent, Cut Throat, Dance Floor Justice, Dead Even, Die Young, Eye of Judgement, Ghost in the Machine, Internal Affairs, My Luck, Know the Score, Names for Graves, On Our Own, Phantom Pains, Pride Kills, Pulling Teeth, Rise and Fall, Slumlords, Ten Crowns, Your Mistake The label is aiming for a early 2006 release date for the as-yet untitled compilation. yes...racist, sexist, jock hardcore. fuck these guys! if you read the cover story on the singer for this band in one of our local papers, youd seriously want to bitchslap the shit out of him. a group of anti-racist skins rushed the stage at one of their shows and beat the shit out of them because their drummer chubby fresh (one life crew) is a fuckin piece of shit. these guys might have helped usher in the metallic hardcore side, but that doesnt cancel out the fact that they are idiots. 1+ Reply

Crowd Deterrent? Nothing like jock-minded tough guy asshole metal hardcore giving my town a bad name! I've read so many bad things about Integrity. I can only imagine how much worse this tribute can be.
