Textbook Music has announced the signing of Philadelphia/Delaware-based quintet, The Twilight Collective. The band includes guitarists Matt Canning who performed with Shai Hulud for two years, and Philip Bryer formerly of Dark Day Dawning. The label describes the band as "a unique blend of energetic rock, punk/hardcore, and progressive, guitar-focused lead work [...] with backgrounds firmly rooted in heavy music."

The band will begin working on their full length debut for the label on October 16th, and will record with producer Bill Stevenson for a February 2006 release.
