Springman signs Sacramento's Tera Melos

Springman Records has announced the signing of Tera Melos, an instrumental four-piece from Sacramento, CA described as "blending jazz and hardcore-punk with an explosive, borderline dangerous, live-show." The band's self-titled full length album will be released on October 4th of this year. Demo tracks and tour updates can be found on the bands MySpace page.

Thanks for helping with the Big D DVD.. So far it looks like it will be at least two discs... Tera Melos -- yes, all insturmental, in a Cap'n Jazz/Black Flag kind of way. Fucking amazing live... OK I'm biased, but I wouldn’t be putting out the record if I didn't think so =)

somehow i think that cover fits the music perfectly. though i must ask, did they all cut each others heads off? and if so, how? i mean the first two are easy, but how do you decapitate if you have no head yourself?

regardless of whether or not Pulley is pop-punk, Scott Radinsky used to try to take off peoples heads with his fastball... actually, he kinda sucked, but still. also, Pulley is awesome.

They are at that. I still hate to use the cliche but I like their older stuff more. The Jim Cherry years will always be my favorite. That man could write a fucking song. As for Scotts pitching, can't say, I wasn't ever a baseball fan. I do remember that everytime I've seen Pulley live someone would hackel him about some game so he couldn't have been that good. But yes, Pulley is awesome, especially live. -Dante

i thought 'Matters' was a real return to form, i.e. the '60 Cycle Hum' days. i don't think i would give any of thier albums a bad score. TAFTFT is their weakest and i would still give it a solid 7. Pulley remains one of my favorite bands, but i've never had the honor of seeing them live. i refuse to miss them the next time they come around, even if i have to go alone. Radinsky wasn't AWFUL, but he wasn't great. i think he had a crareer ERA lower than 4, which is really all you can ask for these days. he just happened to blow a few somewhat important games, includig a game in the 93 ALCS (as usual i may be wrong). don't matter to me, he pitched for shitty teams and he's more than made up for it with Ten Foot Pole and Pulley.

these guys are the greatest band i have ever seen. no lie. the last time i saw them, jeff cartwheel-kicked two of my friends in the face at different times. it was the best moment of their lives.

I must say their recorded shit is pretty impressive. And their live video looks...Really fucking scary but stull enjoyable. Someone should tell them the streaming audio and the streaming video at the same time on their myspace page is confusing at first. I'm totally going to see them Sept. 8th though. WORD -Dante

all you guys are on crack 1.) this band is boring boring boring 2.) Mostly any music coming out of Sacramento CA sucks ass hard... An Angle, Cake, Tesla, The Deftones? Yuck! Even the Groovie Ghoulies just sound like a rip off of all those other "spooky" punk bands...that town scks for music...

Sounds like you've really got your ear into the Sacramento sound... Wow, what'd you do? Google "bands from Sacramento"? Nice work. I find your argument for an entire region sucking because of a handful of bands without merit. That's like saying this message board sucks because of you. Why don't you throw Diseptikons or Giant Squid (aka Namor aka Koi) in your list and see how long your argument holds water.

anyone who hasn't gotten this cd yet needs to. I own 2 copies, and the one i pre-ordered form Springman cam with 2 dead baby fish. I love these guys. Best cd out as of now.
