Some details have been announced for the upcoming posthumous DVD release from Denali. The band which broke up last year released Denali and Instinct via Jade Tree.
Lovitt will release the DVD, titled Pinnacle. The 85 minute DVD includes a 44 minute performance as well as videos for "Hold your Breath" and "Relief," alternate angles for "The Instinct" and "Normal Days," over 150 pictures of the band members, two home movies shot by guitarist Cameron DiNunzio and a hidden Easter egg. According to the label, the project took over 600 man hours to complete and was edited over a period of 6 months by Rex Teese, known best for his work as an editor on "Hannibal," "Hearts in Atlantis" and "Black Hawk Down." why put out a DVD about a band that: 1. wasn't around that long, 2. wasn't "highly influential", 3. didn't have a "new sound", 4. wasn't made up of "ex-members of..." ? 6+ Replies

speaking of posthumous DVDs.... i am DYING for the TAKEN dvd to come out. i only heard little about it and that was a while ago. i'd love to relive their last canadian show over and over and over again, and that will certainly be the case if this ever comes out 1+ Reply
