The original lineup of MDC has announced the dates for an upcoming fall U.S. Tour. The long-running political punk band is touring in support of Magnus Dominus Corpus, their first new studio record in over a decade. Prior to that their most recent release was the 2001 retrospective, Now More Than Ever.

What a fucking horrible name for a band. Cops are so bad because they do their jobs, right? What a bunch of fuckers. 16+ Replies

these guys kind of suck, but that's a fuck-of-a-long tour and i'll tip my hat to that although i can't see them selling out the bluebird (they're old, i get it, that doesn't make them good...just like nowadays there are good bands and bad bands, there were back then too) -the other scott 3+ Replies

See all those Bay Area shows? That's because we kick all your asses. MDC owns your soul. Now bow down and suck it! Seriously though, I don't like all their stuff but I'm glad they're still around. -Dante 2+ Replies

Attention those who have a beef with the band's name. If you would STOP and THINK about/research it for a second you'd understand that the band is not implying that "Cop=Bad", rather that many of today's police forces are corrupt and many of the laws present in our country are unjust and not needed. Therefore, a cop who enforces an unjust law is a "pig", not the IDEA of police in general. And, please, don't use the "they're only doing their job" bullshit excuse- so were Hitler's soldiers....it's no excuse. 2+ Replies

Missed their last tour (with the same lineup I think)- but plan on seeing them this time around for sure. How does this line-up compare to the "Shades Of Brown" "Hey Cop" and Franco lineups? 1+ Reply

1. I criticized the band's name because it's pretty stupid and just a horrible idea. 2. I don't think the band is new, although I do think it's funny that they're considered "legends" simply because of how bad they are. 3. No, I don't listen to Fall Out Boy. 2+ Replies
