Sudbury, Ontario's Statues have announced the release of a 4 song 7" on the newly formed Basement Fire label. The 7" will feature original, hand screened jackets by Nick Kuepfer of Daygristle Screens. This 7" will be the follow up to this past February's Pelado Records released full length Aux.

Statues recently collaborated with former Frenetics frontman Malcolm Bauld. While there's no word on when any recordings from the pairing will be made available yet, a new Statues EP is expected on Pelado this fall.
