Trever Keith's Antagonist Records has announced a November 1st, 2005 release date for the upcoming retrospective compilation from Face to Face. The long-running band broke up in 2003 shortly after the Vagrant release of How to Ruin Everything.
The band originally announced the compilation in June 2004, but has ironed out many of the details for the delayed collection. The album will include 19 essential tracks as well as 2 that were previously unreleased. The disc will include deluxe slipcase packaging as well as extensive liner notes and rare photos. So... Vagrant seems to be losing most of it's "respectable" bands lately so that what it's left with is... well bleh. Any hope of Audio Learning Center putting out one more CD? 5+ Replies

This is kind of off-topic, but can anyone tell me how reliable BYO Records' mail-order service is? I live in Western Canada and have been waiting over three months for my order (all three Briefs albums, plus The Last by Leatherface). Should I contact them, or are they naturally slow to send their packages? 3+ Replies

Up until yesterday I would have said these guys are really good. Then, I bought the Lamb of God Killadelphia DVD, and now the bar has been raised. And to think I was so proud to have just discovered Dillinger Escape Plan.

Stellar fucking band with a great live show. Fuck the haters: this band kept it fast and aggressive through all of their albums and made the music they wanted to make. 2+ Replies

one of the best bands out there in the 90's. their fans gave them shit when they changed their sound a bit and 'experimented', then they went back to their old sound and the fans gave them shit again. How to ruin everything was a mix between their traditional sound and where they wanted to go.....fans still gave them shit. Personally I think it was the whining fans that made them jump ship.

Face To Face are totally amazing, especially in their later years, i miss them!

Face to Face rule. No doubt about it that they were one of the greater punk acts in the 90s. Albums like Don't turn away, Big Choice, and their self titled were all stellar releases. It sucked I didn't get to see them one more time for the farewell tour in Orlando because Hurricane Charlie cancelled the show. That Mother Fucker, Dahm.

They should just get back together. WE WANT IT and they're probably thinking about it! 1+ Reply

These guys were great but...screw a CD. 19 essential tracks = songs I already have. What about the DVD I heard about a year or so ago? Does anyone know if it's still in the works?

How the fuck did Trevor Keith get KRS One on his label? That's pretty fucking hot. 1+ Reply

I'm curious to see a tracklisting for something like this, considering there were only really 3 big radio hits. I would think every face to face fan could probably compile completely different "best of" tracklistings. I felt very lucky to be at their very last two shows. they were out of this world performances, and both nights were pretty emotional as I'd been an avid fan for the last 10 or 11 years 1+ Reply
