Thrice release more music, track listing

Thrice has posted another new track and the track listing for their upcoming full length Vheissu. The album is the band's sophomore release for Island and follow up to The Artist in the Ambulance as well as their recent DVD+CD release If We Could Only See Us Now.

The track, titled "The Earth Will Shake" can be streamed here, though a registration on thrice.net is required to hear the full song.

The band previously released a DRM-restricted track with only a portion of the single, "Image of the Invisible" playable until 100,000 listeners have downloaded the portion. As of this posting, the track can be heard in its entirety.

The album is due out October 18th and the band has enlisted Underoath, The Bled and Veda for the support tour that will visit the US and Canada.

thrice has one of these songs on the new burnout game too, I can't remember which one but I'm pretty sure it's not either of the ones they released. I do remember it being a pretty terrible song though.

That's what I thought too. The game rocks though. I don't like the little meter thing before you start in crash mode. It just seems kind of pointless.

ya crash mode was definitely much better in burnout 3. Still an awesome game though. Oh and pretty much the whole soundtrack on burnout revenge sucks, thank god for custom soundtracks on xbox.

yea...when i first heard this i was like "nickleback? theory of a dead man? staind?? which is it?" this song is pretty shitty. not a very good first impression. its got a couple good things about it, like when hes actually screaming and sounds like thrice...other then that the only good thing is the ending. i still cant wait for this album though. i heard image of the invisible and that song was amazing. i hope this album rocks hard.

i have heard the whole album and i can say with absolute certainty that its amazing. its not at all what you'd expect from them. the heavier stuff is heavier, the mellower stuff is mellower. they did what 99% of the bands on this site fail to do...progress. anyone who hates on this band or this album is full of shit and way more concerned about their 'cool points' than appreciating music. this album will surprise you.

I always have stuck by Thrice...but both those songs were so bland and boring. "Image of the Invisible" felt like it was building up into somehting, but all we got was that horrible pop rock wannabe anthem bullshit chorus over and over. What a terrible song. The other one was even worse. I think Im losing hope for this one....

Sorry for mentioning the new Burnout game again, but I've got a question about the Thrice song that appears on it. The song is called "Lullaby" and the game says it comes from Vheissu, but it doesn't appear on this tracklisting. Can somebody set me straight? Is the song actually not on there, or has the name changed?

I just listened to the full album. It fuckin sucks ass. I used to love thrice then the artist in the ambulance came out and i was reduced to liking them. Then this new cd vheisahauhasahu came out and made the artist in the ambulance sound like heaven. The entire cd sounds like a mix between fag band coldplay and a mix of radiohead. You know how i know ur gay u like coldplay ohhh and the new thrice cd This shit pisses me off why couldn't they have gone back to the style that they mastered the illusion of safety but if you think that the songs will get better than the 2 released your wrong those are the most original thricish songs youll hear The entire album made me want to puke and im glad i didnt make the mistake of buying it

also, to add to the comment above that i wrote. Someone busted the u2 stick out and made the entire album echo like u2. Also, some of the songs even have some of the same lyrical patterns as u2 so if you love u2 youll love thrice... i guess good things can only last for so long and thrice is over and it's time to start listening to u2 jk time to realize that the artist in the ambulance was the last chapter of "thrice"
