The Blood Brothers have posted their remix from the recent bonus disc included with Gang of Four's Return the Gift
The reunited post-punk quartet signed to V2 back in April and the label issued Return the Gift on September 20th. The record is entirely composed of re-recordings of their songs, and the bonus disc includes remixes and covers performed by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ladytron, Hot Hot Heat, the Dandy Warhols, the Others, Amusement Parks on Fire, Faultline, the Rakes, Phones, Go Home Productions, and Tony Kanal of No Doubt. The bonus disc will be released seperately in the US this month. You can check out the song here: "Anthrax (Blood Brothers Remix)." V2 (51 comments)

this is sooo absurdly disgusting, yet it will warrant .1% percentage of the attention anti-flag gets when justin sane orders a vegan sandwich from a non-vegan deli. 2+ Replies

So I saw this in the store the other day, and it comes with a dollar inside every CD. Giving back to the consumer. Witty. I still don't understand, though, why the remastered Entertainment! is 18 dollars everywhere. 1+ Reply

Yeah, this is more of a re-mix of a cover. The original still slays, partly because the drums sound so thin and crappy on this re-mix (not sure if they sound as bad on the re-recorded version).

I don't think there are any covers on the Gang of Four bonus disc. 1+ Reply

that's an alright "remix". i think it would've just been cooler as a cover but whatever... nice little weird saxophone. anyone on the org play kingdom of loathing?
