Soundtrack for "Underworld 2: Evolution" features Alkaline Trio, My Chemical Romance, Atreyu, Aiden

Lakeshore Records has announced the track listing for the soundtrack to Underworld: Evolution, the second vampire film in the series starring Kate Beckinsdale. The previous film's soundtrack included songs from Dillinger Escape Plan and Finch.

The film is expected in January with the soundtrack due out January 10th.

That is seriously the worst punk comp I have seen in a LONG time. The only redeeming song is Alk3. And the first movie sucked. The whole thing must have been shot with a blue filter over the lens. That was the only color in the entire damn movie.

Well to be honest, the Trio is more a band I've always respected, but never been super interested in. I'll listen to one or two songs of theirs on occassion, but I very rarely sit through a whole cd. That said, I can't really debate your claim, because I don't know enough about them. But in comparison to everyone else on the comp, they are pure gold.

I already did, when it was called Ray. Seriously though, I liked both movies, but Walk the Line was almost the exact same thing as Ray. I understand that they are supposed to be biographical movies, but it seems like the movie companies just wanted to make a quick buck by making another movie about an American icon who had a shitty childhood, struggled with drugs and overcame everything to make a great impact on our culture. I was mildly impressed.

Wow....not one punk or hardcore band in the entire comp......not that I was expecting any. Looks like the typical flavor of the month fashion-core bands are all here.....minus a few. The first movie was disposable entertainment.......purely disposable. It's not that it was a bad film.....it was just extremely generic fare.....which in some cases is worse than a BAD movie, because bad movies can be fun to watch lol. If I want to see Kate Bekinsale in tights I'll just download a JPG, not toss down $10 for a subpar film.

ben kingsley is one of the four or five best living actors on the planet. so, even if it sucks, which it looks like it assuredly will, you'll have something cool to watch. "suspect zero" was terrible, but a few of his scenes were goddamn amazing. i think he reads some scripts and likes the movies and then he reads other scripts entirely thinking of how he can steal scenes and his individual parts.

Never saw DARYL but Skulls 2 doesn't count, sequels aren't really movies. But you forgot to mention Final Destination 2, no movie made less sense or took more of my time. Also, let's not forget Battlefield Earth, proof Scientology makes you retarded. But the difference is that this movie had potential and it sucked. It had a chance to be an awesome gore/horror/sci-fi movie and I just sucked balls. Similar effect to Freddy Vs. Jason. -Dante

nah, Battelfield Earth was the most unintentionally hilarious movie of all time. i mean, sure it was pure shit, but some of those scenes were perfect in an uncomfortably funny way. and you must see DARYL. he's a Data Anyalzing Robotic Youth Lifeform!!!! think Short Circuit, but considerably lamer.

The My Chemical Romance song is a cover of Blur I think. I saw Gerard Way's celebrity playlist on iTunes and that song was on it and he wrote that he listened to that song over and over again. I'd be interested to hear how they ruin it. Also, the Alkaline Trio song was just begging to be remixed, IMO.

because all these bands are apparently popular. and in the traditions of movie makers everywhere, it makes more money if you put bands on there that are popular no matter how shitty they are. what I don't understand is how they put "hand that feeds" by Nine Inch Nails on the trailer, and it's not even in the movie.

Okay now seriously people, i am sick to shit of hearing people whine and bitch about how much they hated this movie, and they can't figure out why any of the seemingly "hardcore" bands would put thier crap on its soundtrack, essentially lowering thier coolness factor or whatever the fuck you impish reviewers view as "in". How bout actually, instead of making useless, generalized comments about how much the movie sucked, actually give some real feedback. You know? The kind of stuff that would actually help the movie director do a better job next time. My opinion of the movie was positive. It was a good movie. They did a good job with what they started with initially, which was from the start, a "fresh" idea on the world of vampires and werewolves, a fact which many "hardcore" fans seem to forget. It was a good movie, it was a decent soundtrack, and no they don't need a seq

Ok, personally I think the movie was badass, I am putting this up way to late. The first movie was awsome, regardless the color sceme, there was a point to that, to symbolize thier life was dark AND COLD. The soundtrack for the sequel looks alright, too many emo bands for me, fucking corner boys, Hawthorne Hieghts and Aiden need to be shot in the fucking eye. The new Cradle of Filth song is awsome, I fucking love those guys. Other than that, I will not buy the soundtrack, but instead download it and then delete it. As for the Movie, was one of the greatest I have seen all year, it out did King Kong for me and I love that movie so yeah, it was bad ass. I give it a 5 out of 5

Have any of you ever thought about how hard it is to make a movie and how much time and money it takes..i think for a vampire movie of this extent is was good and the story line was good too! i mean who else has made a vampire movie like this with so many interesting twists. Kate Beckinsdale is a good looking woman too. If she had implants o well who cares u didn't so wats the problem. Shes in the lime light ur not. Is the last sunrise,burn,and bite to break skin. then the rest is shit linkin park,sum 41,green day,simple plan and staind are the best bands. why because they sing not like other bands all they do is fucking scream by the way blink-182 suck they only got two goods frist date,and all the small things.seriously slipknot really suck.
