Big D and the Kids Table have posted some year-end news. The band recently added saxophone player Ryan O'Connor to the lineup. O'Connor replaces Chris Bush, who quit in August.
The band issued the Salem Girls EP last month. They'll be supporting that release next year while on tour with Less Than Jake. Sean and Dave are currently working on the newest video from their 2004 release, How It Goes. The band hopes to complete work on "You're Me Now" soon, for release in 2006. Besides that, the band is planning a new full length, which is set to be primarily "ska/punk" but also include some dub-style material like that which appeared on Salem Girls. Finally, the group is also planning to release a new DVD in 2006; the content confirmed so far is the full set of videos from the band. Springman Records (14 comments)

i just saw them live for like the sixth time. i thought they would be better. i hoped and wished and prayed. what a waste of money that was.

Really, need we announce that Big D is working on a new video? That's like, "And the sun rose today". Sure it's good and the sun is punk rock, but who didn't expect that? Just assume that if you're breathing Big D is working on a video. Though I am sorta excited about a new album, I like some of their stuff and I still haven't seen them live, which is apparently where the money is at. -Dante

as much as i love these guys, this news is outdated by at least a few weeks. and yeah, the same thing as everyone else said about the videos.

cool cool. i'm glad the new album won't be entirely like "Salem Girls"
