New song from Bayside; Silverstein on American Idol

Bayside have posted a stream of the new track scheduled to appear on their upcoming DVD/CD which is due out February 28th.

The DVD includes their last performance on the Never Sleep Again Tour at the House of Blues in Chicago. The second disc will be a studio EP consisting of 7 songs. Included will be 5 acoustic versions of Bayside songs, a Smoking Popes cover with Josh Caterer helping the vocals, and the new track, titled"Winter."

The band will be supporting the Smoking Popes on their upcoming reunion tour.

In related news, labelmates Silverstein recently saw one of their songs "performed" on the popular reality show, American Idol. Though the contestant in question did not fare so well with the judges, the band has offered the singer, Ryan Heart, an invitation to any of their shows.
