Bad Religion, Goldfinger added to Groezrock

Bad Religion has been confirmed as Saturday headliner for the upcoming 15th Anniversary of the annual Groezrock Festival. The long-running European festival will take place in Meerhout, Belgium from April 28th to 29th.

Also added today to the event are Goldfinger and The Spirit The Guides Us. Other acts scheduled to appear include Me First & the Gimme Gimmes, Bold, Raised Fist, Anti-Flag, Sick of It All, All Out War, Taking Back Sunday, Aiden. the Lawrence Arms, The Banner, A Wilhelm Scream, Born From Pain and Latterman

I love Bigwig's new album, although I don't understand why you post this on a Groezrock newsitem. Anyone, it reminded me a lot of Propagandhi, and I even like this a lot more than their latest album because besided the great guitar(metal)riffs there's also a lot of melodies, something I missed in Propagandhi's last effort. As for Groezrock... what a line-up. Hope I'll be back DJ-ing there this year for the 6 year in a row.

i cant tell if you were being sarcastic or not. but it says 'JAGGERMEISTER'. aside from my possible misinterpretation of language. Yes, this would be a festival I would actually make sure to see...if I lived in belgium and not oregon.

off course we hate aiden. Good thing about this festival is that i can walk to it. bad thing is that it keeps getting bigger and it's starting to lose its atmosphere.

Wow! Not a single must-see band! They all fall under: 'new and don't give a shit' (TBS, Wilhelm, Latterman) 'old and no longer relevant' (Bad Religion, Sick of it All) 'were never good in the first damn place' (Me First & the Gimme Gimmes, Anti-Flag, Goldfinger) 'alright, but not worth it' (Lawrence Arms) 'downright fucking terrible' (Aiden) If you're obsessed with mediocrity, that's a fucking killer lineup.

I don't get it. What are you listening to then? Are these thousands of people coming to this festival all dumb or what? If you prefer the low-profile basement-bands imagine a festival where you put on these bands. How in earth do you think organising a festival like that could attract enough people to even pay for the stage to be put up? Any person claiming a festival with Bad Religion on stage sucks should just fuck off. That band alone is sufficient to get me going there. And I think these organizers did a hell of a job to bring together some hardcore and punkrock. Some of it new, some of it older, what more do you want?
