Last Laugh post cover of "Paint It Black"

Stuart, Florida's Last Laugh have released a new track in support of their upcoming Suburban Noize full length, No Regrets which is due out February 21st, 2006.

You can check out the song in a number of formats, right here.

The album is the follow up to their 2003 album, Ashamed Of It.

I've made the point that a band no one really cares about posted a cover that no one really cares about of a song that no one has cared about in a few decades and that there was probably something more relevant to post. I really didn't think I'd have to break things down like that.

Check these guys out. All of the memebers are some pretty nice dudes. Last Laugh kind of sound like Pennywise mixed with Strung Out.

That cover was pretty good, but I think the singing should have been a bit more aggro. Props to them for not sounding like Atreyu or Thursday or whatever though.

Wow. What an original cover. That's really groundbreaking that a punk band would cover Paint it Black by the Stones. I'm extremely certain this have NEVER EVER been done before. This is groundbreaking news!!!!

horrible cover. i believe if your going to do a cover, do it in your own style and don't try to make it sound exactly like the original. see unseen's paint it black, and anything by me first, and to an extent korn's brick in the wall. they at least make the songs their own. ps. you should never cover clasic songs like brick in the wall, or other songs like bohemien raphsody.

No, he's wrong. The original record said "Paint It Black" but, the fact that this makes no sense given the context and that context aside it is basically racist, the Stones themselves have said that the record company put the comma in, not them.

Hey. I have an idea to solve your argument. Everyone do a handstand and shit yourselves. i find it very theraputic. Maybe a few Guiness and a bowl pack would solve that shit. I like the band and think the cover is awesome, but you guys are rediculous. No need to argue. Its just a song. They probably dont care what any of us have to say anywho. So the moral of the story is get your own bands and write something better. Its like that Lagwagon song "know it all". I believe the quote is "could you every write what you call wrong". you are aware that there is very little that hasn't been done before right? everything is pretty much going to sound like something else. i think what most people on here were saying is that the song itself has been covered to death. the band could have chosen something a little more original, and choosing to release that as a single is really fucking cheesy. release one of your own songs, then down the road release the cover if you really want it out there

I've known these guys for years and they are all the best people you could ever meet. Not to mention they have sick talent!
I love this cover and the whole "No Regrets" album. I definitely prefer them over the Finland Last Laugh...nothing compares!
