Dearly Departed have reunited, sans one original member. The Long Island band split in late 2004, going their separate ways but have apparently decided to give it another go. They have replaced former guitarist Ryan Albrecht with From Autumn to Ashes axeman Jonathan Cox.

The band is currently playing small shows and preparing to record a new album, their first since 2003's Believing in Ghosts.
