Samiam have announced the addition of bassist Jeremy Bergo, bringing the band back to their original five-piece status. The band continues to rehearse and write new material and are hoping to enter the studio in May, promising "we have tons of new songs…so be warned."

Guitarist Sergie Loobkoff has also announced the creation of their myspace page which also includes four streaming tracks from their older albums.

The band released their last record, Astray, in 2000.
