Planes Mistaken for Stars who recently signed to Abacus Recordings have announced a short tour to road test some new material they've been working on for their forthcoming Abacus debut.

The band has chosen producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Isis, Minus The Bear) and will begin recording in Seattle in mid-April. Due to the new recording schedule, the band will no longer be able to make the coveted 06/06/06 release date as originally planned. A new release date will be set shortly.
