Best known as the label co-founded by Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong in 1998, Adeline Records have changed distributors. The Oakland based label is now working with East West for their distribution needs and had previously been using Mordam, prior to their merger with Lumberjack .
East West is a division of The Warner Music Group and is home to many labels, such as Liberty & Lament, Triple Crown Records, Volcom Entertainment and Tent Show. Adeline Records (44 comments)

I thought this was common knowledge....I talked to Jesse Luscious a long time ago and he mentioned that Adeline had switch distributors in their whole revamping bit. Bah...Lumberjack rocks. If I ever put out an album I'm using them...well them or anyone who'd put out something I did...I'd have to weigh the offers. -Dante 2+ Replies

Go Korea!! I don't think that anyone really stands a chance against the Dominican Republic except maybe the U.S., but I'm personally rooting for Korea or Venezuela (specifically my favorite player, Omar Vizquel). 4+ Replies

It isn't really Adeline anymore. Green Day's manager bought the name and is using it as his own Warner imprint. Aside from that, Adeline now is just a clothing brand. Good people, but no longer doing the punk rock. 2+ Replies

They haven't released a cd in like two years. Who really cares about their distro. 1+ Reply

Interesting. I wouldn't be surprised if the Lookout!-era Green Day albums were reissued on Adeline now that EastWest/WMG is the gobetween.

I almost feel bad for Mordam as every label seems to be jumping ship since it got bought by Lumberjack 1+ Reply
