"We've Lost Touch" We're coming off kinda contrived and pretentious. We're not saying anything you haven't heard before. You're caught up in an argument. On whether or not we have sold out. We will lose you all. You'll never trust us again. We've lost touch. Fucking sellouts! posted on a message board? Please tell me I'm not the only one, that thinks we brainwashed these kids so easily, Just a little too enamored with our bland generic sound. Indies are cheap. And they do not pay us much. We've lost touch. We're losing touch. Constant propaganda for your feeble minds. Lack of appreciation for our epic grinds. Is there something wrong with these songs? Maybe there's something wrong with the audience. Manipulation in our music, fucking fraudulence. We're losing touch. We're losing touch, but now we're making much. 2+ Replies

fuck indie103.1 they just took dicky's mighty morning show off the air. got that from the adolescents message board. tony posted this:
The powers that be at "Indie"103.1 would like you to believe that they are an independent alternative to local gargantua alt station KROQ in Los Angeles.
Truth of the matter is that "Indie" is really a CLEAR CHANNEL puppet station, run from the shadows by a couple of tools from pussystation KIISFM.
We were willing to play the game for a while, ignoring their obvious corporate rock ties because- on the surface at least- there was fun to be had in hearing great jocks like steve jones, joe sib, joe escalante, rob zombie, and henry rollins.
who could resist. they were taking a chance and shaking up the status quo, and it was fun- even if the station bosses were flat out LYING and HIDING who was REALLY running the show.
A touch o show rest of comment 2+ Replies

Not to be an asshole, but the article reads that the show is currently accepting "entires", I assume, accepting portions is not an option and that the word should be "entries".
