Fat Mike, Susan Dyner (Punks Not Dead) on Complete Control Radio tonight

Complete Control Radio, the weekly punk rock show hosted by Joe Sib of SideOneDummy on Indie 103.1 will be sitting down with Fat Mike of NOFX, Me First and the Gimme Gimmies and Fat Wreck Chords as well as Susan Dynner, director of Punk's Not Dead tonight.

Listen in as Joe and Mike talk about music, politics, being parents, etc.

In the second hour of the show, we have Susan Dynner the director of the upcoming documentary entitled "Punk's Not Dead". The film will feature interviews and live performances by The Adicts, UK Subs, Subhumans, Bad Religion, Rancid, The Exploited, NOFX, Social Distortion, TSOL, The Dead Kennedys, and many more!

Tomorrow the contest to win a signed skatedeck from pro skateboarder and legendary pool rider Steve Alba a.k.a. Salba will close at 12pm PST. You can get your entries in at Complete Control Radio's official website.

The show can be streamed online starting at 8pm PST right here.

The show will also appear on Austin's 101X on Sunday nights at 10pm CST

also what's the point of making a documentary called punk's not dead when all the bands have been around for 20 + years? the title would make a lot more sense if it was new bands

i understand your point but take a quick look at that long list of bands on the documentary. you've got all the old punk staples but you also get a lot of the 90s/current bands too. and there seems to be more focus on all decades of punk rather than just the 70s/early 80s that most punk documentaries i've seen (decline, punk attitude, etc) focus on. the breadth of the list is pretty good-angelic upstarts, naked aggression, the briefs, the forgotten, 999, L7, Scream, etc.

"performences by the dead kennedys" surre. i'm disgusted with peligro klaus and ray, the dead kennedys officially broke up when jello left, thats it, no "reuniting" tour, but they still go around trying to prove cruz is as good as jello. these stupid yuppie kids are finding out about DK by seeing their shirts in hot topic, what the hell happend to "nazi punks fuck off!" and "stars and stripes of corruption"?! cruz sings horribly anyway.
NOFX is ok. rancid is overated. the other bands are great. but i refuse to listen if they say that the dead kennedys are preforming.

has anyone here seen final fantasy advent children? i totally forgot about it until now but apparently the u.s. version comes out on the 25th. FF7 was an experience i'll always remember.

was ff7 the first rpg you played? because as someone that followed the series since its beginning, it was a monumental game at the time when I played it, but now it's forgettable.

I saw the japanese version of it with subtitles. It was decent. Great eye candy.

When they played that 7 Seconds song, I thought it was Saves the Day. I find that funny. Anyways, I downloaded "The Crew" afterwards, and it's a really good album. Never got into 7 Seconds before.

Who really wants these songs anyways? It's the collectible--and-semi-semi-rare aspect thats fun, seeing as how many songs are on the lp anyways.

This was the only comment on this board that I read, so I don't know what context it came from, but I think Gervais is genius. I watched the British version of The Office about 5 times through before it ever hit here, stateside. I haven't seen Extras, as I don't get cable. I also haven't seen his stand up. It isn't available anywhere.
