Pitchfork is reporting that Three Mile Pilot will be releasing their next full length on Touch and Go. The band includes members of current T&G acts The Black Heart Procession and Pinback.

The album, due out in 2007 is the first in the decade since 1997's Another Desert, Another Sea which was followed by the lengthy hiatus that led to the formation of both the aforementioned bands.

AMG. describes the band as both akin to Slint and Don Caballero, with poppier moments which could be compared to Pixies or Nirvana.
