Casket Salesmen will begin posting video updates next week. The band is promising to use the videos to talk about the band's future plans as well explain the reason behind their departure from major label rock act, A Static Lullaby.

The band is preparing for the release of their upcoming debut, Sleeping Giants. The album is expected on August 1st, 2006 and the band tells Punknews.org that a number of guest spots were recorded on the album. Guest participants include Chris Sheets & Steve Borth of Rx Bandits, the entirety of Mythmaker, Anthony Alagna of Auditory Aphasia and many more.

The band includes Phil Pirrone and Nate Lindeman and the album was produced by the band and Justin Gutierrez. The album is due out through Longhair Illuminati, a label formed by the band, and the first single, "I'll Buy That for a Dollar" is expected to debut soon.

The band has also announced their second-ever live performance. The band will be making their Los Angeles live debut at the Knitting Factory on May 1st, 2006.
