Boston's Street Dogs have taken up residence in Los Angeles as they gear up to record their upcoming third full length. The upcoming release is tentatively titled Not Without a Purpose... Not Without a Fight! and the band is recording with producer Ted Hutt(Flogging Molly, Scotch Greens, Bouncing Souls) A release is expected in September.
. The album is the follow up to Back to the World which was released last year. The band has fifteen new songs as well as a new covers, and Tobe described the songs as "Some good anthems, some old school hardcore, some good old fashioned punk rock barn burners, and a few covers." Among the covers, the band will be recording "Power in a Union" by Billy Bragg. The band is promising dates in July and August with the Adolescents and a "big tour" in September. Later this month, they have a one-off show planned at Knitting Factory in Los Angeles on Saturday May 27. DRT Entertainment (37 comments)

In the description of the record Tobe failed to mention that they will continue to rip off the pop punk melodies and songwriting of Bouncing Souls and The Descendents.

Street Dogs are the shit and Mike has done more for the state of punk then most of our peers and though i dont understand the west coast logic they alwats play incredible shows and stay and hang out with everyone after the show, more intrigued by our tales then their own...so big ups and look forward to another classic 1+ Reply
