I somehow own one of the Warped Tour comps. It's really shitty, and I have no memory of how I obtained it.
It comes out June 6th?
I'd totally much rather but the new Methadones and Bouncing Souls CD's on that day...
in fact I reccomend that everyone buys the new Methadones and Bouncing Souls albums that day... oh and if you don't have the Lillingtons - Death By Television then get that too.
midnight mile by the souls is one of the songs of the year fo' sho
i wanna hear the new anti flag song. yea i said it! so what? For Blood and Empire was good.
Gogol Bordello Vs. Flogging Molly. Who would win this fight?
I hate to sound like a yammering, complainy idiot, but Motion City Soundtrack is one of the worst bands out there today and do not deserve anything more than a kick in the face.
It still sucks, but at least it's not as blood-curdlingly terrible as last years.
oooohh I wanna hear that Souls song
that against me! song is good too.
as well as NOFX's
i bought one of these comps once...waste of money. all it did was introduce me to bands i thought were cool on the cd but ended up sucking balls...ie the fuckups.
I own the 2001 comp and it kicks a surprising amount of ass. Unreleased stuff from the Vandals, Swingin' Utters, AFI, Anti-Flag, Rancid, Kill Your Idols, No Use, Me First, etc. Good shit.
The best song on this comp is The Riverboat Gamblers. Probably going to be one of the best CD's of the year.
I don't know, it looks cool to me... The Riverboat Gamblers kick ass and that MxPx dude on the cover seems cool for some reason!
i can't stop listening to Recovering The Opposable Thumb between the 1:12 - 3:00 part is fucking intense.
Meh, the last one had a crapload of shitty bands and it started sounding good, weel, after like, 15 times I listened to it (excluding reeeealy shitty songs).
However! This one has ten times worse tracklist. I mean - wtf? VCR? Matchbook Romance? I Am Ghost?.. RELIENT K?
Well, at least they didn't squezze the overrated Billy Talent song in this comp.
Here's the only tracks I'll be checking out:
NOFX - "Wolves in Wolves' Clothing"
Flogging Molly - "Laura"
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - "Five"
Riverboat Gamblers - "Don't Bury Me I'm Still Not Dead"
Helmet - "Bury Me"
Gogol Bordello - "Not A Crime"
Valient Thor - "Sticks & Stones"
Time Again - "Black Night"
Slightly Stoopid - "Nothin Over Me"
Eight Fingers Down - "Everything"
Anti-Flag - "No Future"
The Casualties - "Under Attack"
Against Me - "From Her Lips To God's Ears"
Bouncing Souls - "Midnight Mile"
Bedouin Soundclash - "Rude Boy Don't Cry"
Love Equals Death - "Bombs Over Brooklyn"
Good Riddance - "Shame"
Scotch Greens - "Professional"
The Expendables - "Set Me Off"
Los Kung-Fu Monkeys - "Short Fuse"
Are they ever going to announce which bands are playing which dates?
There are tons of "Folk-Punk" Bands that can blow those two bands of...
But in this battle, Flogging Molly wins
The last three editions of this comp (2003-2005) have been certified gold by the RIAA. That's 500,000 copies sold of each year. That's how big Warped Tour's become.
So, so, so nuts.

these comps always seem worthless to me, since everything I'd listen to on here I already have, or plan on getting. they've always got the bad track sequencing too.
"I got my bottled water and my nachos and it came in at under twenty bucks. I got this bad taste in the back of my mouth from my time on the back of the bus."
stupid fucking tour.
8 fingers down?!? holy shit, i saw them in a basement, they came over to IL from California and played in a basement to like 10 people (who just sat down, they weren't even standing or anything). anyway, i gave em 15 bucks for like 3 cds which i haven't listened to. its cool that they're on warped...
Randy - "Randy the Band"
Anti-Flag - "For Blood and Empire"
that's all i've heard so far, but i think bouncing souls and dead to me will have great records.
For fans of Motion City Soundtrack, I highly recommend the new Gatsbys American Dream album. It hits stores tomorrow, but check it: for $13 on their online store they'll throw in a shirt.

Okay, so there's like 4 good songs, max. Awesome.
