In the middle of this past March I called Jay and told him that I was quitting the band. After months and months of talking about taking a break, there wasn't any in sight. I told him that I hoped they would continue on with someone else because I knew there were things on the horizon that they had wanted to do (Mexico/Japan/U.S. summer tour). I was too burnt out on TSM to pull another full year of touring. After 5 1/2 years, Jay and I will finally be releasing a proper record with Left In Ruin, and I know Dan has got some things going on but I know nothing about them. Such disappointment. Oh my god, seriously. I finally got done with two weeks of hell in relation to school and personal shit, finally over those humps and now this.

Fuck, it's just a band breaking up but this has SERIOUSLY ruined my day.

Near Miss's debut album was so fucking awful and poppy. The only good song on it was track five, because it all least sounded like something a member from Bigwig would write.

I didn't really like the new Near Miss. It was too poppy for my tastes, for the most part. The harder/faster songs were good...but half the album seemed like filler. Not cool man, not cool.

they just released something by The Banannas, put out an album for Bent Outta Shape a few months ago, Sharkpants, Swing Ding Amigos, Recess releases stuff!!!
