Seattle-based Panic Records, owned and operated by former TRIAL guitarist Timm McIntosh, has announced the addition of three new bands to their roster.
First, Long Island, New York's Brookside which is described as "catchy in the tradition of the Movielife and Brand New." The band will be releasing their debut, Tonight, Long Island in July and will be supporting the album through the summer.
Next, Northwestern hardcore act Count the Hours who will release We Don't Care in the June, in time to kick off a West Coast tour.
The third is Sweden's When We Fall who will see the North American release of their debut EP, >A Cry In Despair this summer. The band is often compared to Comeback Kid and Shai Hulud.
For tastes of all three bands, you can check out streams on the label's myspace page.

I would love for a pop-punk band to sound like the first Movielife and Brand New records, but I saw Brookside open for Hey Mercedes a few years ago and it was just an unbelievably awful version of the first Starting Line full-length. And judging from this song, they really haven't changed much. 1+ Reply

When we fall?
What the hell is up with all the love for the worst, generic bands in scandinavia?
When we fall is terrible even compared to other bands here doing the same thing. Another Year >>>>>>>> When we fall. Plus, the singer is a cockass.
