Wires on Fire post four tracks from upcoming LP

Wires on Fire have released four new songs from their upcoming full length. One of the tracks, "Million Dollar Maybes" also appeared on their recent split EP/DVD with the Mean Reds. Both bands contributed two songs include a cover apiece, with the Mean Reds covering Minor Threat's "Minor Threat" and Wires on Fire performing Alice Cooper's "I'm Eighteen."

The band will soon join The Bronx for some upcoming dates.

this is going to be a really great rock release.

Million Dollar Maybes is a fucking rad track
Coming to Our Senses and Death to Jeff Lynn both have that slow swagger that i love in some of their songs

On A Train sounds cool, but does it sound like it has shittier production or something than the others?

these guys need to get on a label that can actually support their bands, for some reason buddyhead seems kinda washed up, or maybe its just the impression i get since people talk shit on that label alot...

hell, they have released singles by dillinger escape plan and 400 blows?

You know how when you grow up, and you get suspicious about people from your childhood possibly being lamer than you remembered, but all you needed was some kind of closure or something to wrap it all up and prove that they really were lame? Y’know, like that kid who gave you your first beer… he was really into Slayer, drove a Camaro, fingerbanged your babysitter, and you thought he was super rad cos he had a mustache… and then 10 years later you saw him bussing tables at a Sizzler. Well, that band Lifetime is a lot like that. We all kinda got tricked into thinking they were sorta ok way back there somewhere in the 90’s. Somehow they would always end up on a mix tape some cute chick made you with a bunch of other bands that actually were cool… like Jawbreaker and Sunny Day Real Estate… and you were smoke-screened of their actual wackness cos they sounded sorta ok in betwe

hmmm i have to hand it to buddyhead there for pointing out lifetime suck but they're wrong about a few things

- anyone over 15 should have known that lifetime always sucked. if you were 15 and a sensitive little boy when jersey's best blah blah came out, then i'll give you a pass
- jawbreaker is children's music
- sunny day real estate is boring music for the milhouses of the world

oh and unrelated but converge are really, really awful.
