Scott Rozell (Scatterbox, Moral Crux) and friend form Blackhouse Records

Scott Rozell of Clickpop Records band Scatterbox (and formerly of Moral Crux) along with friend Tiffany Cogburn have formed Blackhouse Records. The label has signed a number of acts including Belt of Vapour and Sadie Hawkins Rejects from Washington State, Phantom Limb Mangement (Cambridge, UK), Linus (ID), Zepar (ID).

Due out soon will be reissues of the first three Scatterbox albums, with most release plans expected soon.

The label is soliciting demos and explains: "We are always looking for loud and fast hardcore punk, powerviolence, thrash, grindcore and ambient music. "

Moral Crux is so good. They're the finest political pop punk band around, if they're still around that is.

Justin and Jim still live in eastern Washington, Jared Brown lives in Idaho and Scott Rozell does as well. Jody Kimmel is in Boise, Jody Waymire is in Seattle, as well as Roger Hinshaw, Johnny Machine is in Colorado, Jeff Jenkins is in Seattle. I think that's it as far as members past and present. I hope I'm not leaving anyone out.
