Contests: Rx Bandits

In case you hadn't heard, the RX Bandits' newest album, ...And The Battle Begun, is set to be released in just a few months. To celebrate, the band has graciously offered up free tickets to a couple of their upcoming shows to four pairs of Punknews.org readers.

There are two shows to pick from: the first is on July 28th at The Glasshouse in Pomona, California and the second is on the 30th at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles, California. We've got two pairs of tickets to give away to each of these shows and each pair will receive a free copy of the new album as well as a limited edition tour poster signed by the Bandits.

The Prizes

Four winners will receive:

One pair of tickets to either the July 28th RX Bandits show in Pomona or to the July 30th RX Bandits show in Los Angeles
One copy of ...And The Battle Begun
A limited edition tour poster, signed by the RX Bandits

You also give us permission to use your first name and city when announcing the winners.

All entries must be received by July 24th, 2006 at 12:00 A.M. EST.

With any luck I should be able to get an interview for the San Francisco show, so I guess I won't enter. That and the $80 worth of gas and 6 hour drive would probably invalidate the worth of free tickets.

I live in PA and I was thinking of entering just to be a dick, and then I thought about it and came to the conclusion that me entering would probably have no effect on it either way

they aren't on drive-thru anymore they are on MDB, and idk how you can justify them as a shitty band if you knew anything about music you would at least respect them as musicians considering they can outplay most of the bands out there... not saying you have to like them just saying you have to be an idiot to say they are a shitty band...

so at the Tucson show, this girl who was WAY out of place at this show was the only thing between me (and the rest of the crowd) and the wall. Naturally, I got knocked into her, and she starts yelling and hitting me. She left the area shortly thereafter. After the set, her boyfriend apologized for her actions.

Moral of the story: Don't go to a rock show unless you intend to get rocked.

but to be honest practically every song cycles through as my favorite at one point or another

except 'Only For THe Night'...i don't really like that song at all

epoxi-lips is a meaty fuckin song. but i love million miles an hour fast asleep and to our unborn daughters too. every song is so good

in her drawer was my immediate fav, but now the ones that didn't catch me at first are my favorites

But you can buy it at shows and if you preorder, you'll likely get your copy in the mail after a few days.

At least I got my copy in the mail a few weeks ago.

The new album is quite enjoyable. They are fucking talented, though sometimes I wish they'd throw in a good sing-along song like "Wrong With Me". But yeah, the it's really good.

Anyone who talks shit on the RX Bandits is a fucking idiot and they dont know what good music is. Its cool if its not your kind of music or whatever but dont be ignorant and say they suck just because you wouldnt know good music if it came and smacked you in the face.
