Legendary early 90s Australia punks Nursery Crimes have announced plans to reform to play some shows on the continent later this year. The reformed band will be fronted by vocalist and Bodyjar songwriter Phil Rose, as well as original members David Dixon, Davarj & James Mc Innes. The drum seat will be filled by Ross Hetherington (ex-Bodyjar).
Shock Records will be releasing a new Nursery Crimes compilation to coincide with the tour. An October 28th show at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne and a Sydney show on November 4th at the Annandale Hotel have been confirmed, but more dates are expected soon.
The band existed from 1989 through 1993 and supported Fugazi, ALL, The Rollins Band, Mudhoney, The Hard –Ons & The Meanies on their Australian treks. The band released two albums, No Time For That Crime and Fun Hurts before splitting up

Judging by the amount of comments this is getting, looks like they weren't that legendary. 1+ Reply
