The Yuppie Pricks are announcing our early retirement plans. All of our golf games have really gone to shit over the past five years, so we thought it was time to realign our priorities.
The band released Broker's Banquet in 2005.
Yuppie Pricks have called it a day. The band's label Alternative Tentacles, made the announcement though the band made the decision this past April saying:

They had a pretty good and fun show over at the Double Down here in Las Vegas this past Saturday; they gave away their latest CDs out for free. Oh well, hopefully their golf game will get better.

A lot of people dismiss joke bands for some reason, as if comedy can't hold any weight or a message. These guys were proof that joke bands can have a lot more to say (and a much more interesting way of saying it) than most "serious" bands.

Their site is pretty funny and their MP3's are enjoyable, even if they sound a bit too much like the Kennedys. I don't think the band deserves to be shit on as much as they are here.
