The Blood Brothers have posted two new tracks from their forthcoming release Young Machetes. You can hear "Set Fire to the Face on Fire" and "Lazer Life" on their MySpace.
The band is set to release Young Machetes October 10th and will embark on a tour with And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead shortly after. V2 (59 comments)

I wanted to pawn off all of my Blood Brothers stuff but when I heard this I changed my mind.

I wasn't that impressed with Crimes, but I really liked Burn, Piano Island, Burn. This is looking to be pretty cool...what I really enjoyed in Burn, Piano Island, Burn was when they just chilled out and the music got really calm and mellow...they don't do that as much anymore which sucks.

I really dug Burn, Piano Island, Burn, but these are too slow and dance-y for my taste. 1+ Reply

I can't get into this album through 3 listens, it just doesnt have the pizzaz of their previous stuff..

I like this record alot, it's crimes rewritten with 10 times the energy.

Just listened to the new album straight through for the first time, and I have no idea whether I like it or not. It's obviously a natural progression from Crimes, I'm just not sure if I like the direction Crimes took them in. Crimes was great and all, but I think they're steadily heading away from what got me into them in the first place. 1+ Reply

Would they take it as a complement that I really liked the leak? I think my favorite so far would have to be Vital Beach. 1+ Reply

March on Electric Children is their best album. The others are pretty good, but know where near the status of March on. Bring back the rock and get out of the hipster shit. | Features
