Lobster signs Rosematter

Lobster has signed York, PA-based Rosematter. The label had this to say about the band:

Combine the pop saavy of Fall Out Boy, the energy of No Doubt and the sincerity of Jimmy Eat World and you get something close to Rosematter.

The quintet is curently at home working on their debut for the label which is due out in 2007. You can check out some demos on their myspace page.

this band isnt that bad at all actually. not the greatest thing, or even anything amazing or unique but id try out the cd whenever it leaks

I saw this band when they played Chicago. They were added last minute to the Lazer Mountain show and weren't that bad live. They sort of sounded like Discount. I asked them after asking their set if they listened to Discount, but they all sort of shrugged and said they'd never heard of them.
I checked out the songs up on the web and they sounded nothing like the band I saw, other than the fact that they had a female singer. aside from being good live, I doubt I'd ever buy anything by them.

I heard paramore doesnt even write thier own songs, they buy them. when i was on warped this summer that chick isnt even that hot. i guess its just that she sings and loves god. you think kevin lyman will create a separate tour for christian bands so Underoath wont getthier feelings hurt?

Now i tried to open winamp, media player and realplayer with respectively Fall out Boy, No Doubt and Jimmy Eat World all playing at the same time and it sounded like shit for 5 seconds then it crashed.

So I guess that description isn't so bad after all.
