Media: More new music from Plain White T's

Plain White T's have posted the another track from their upcoming Hollywood Records full length, Every Second Counts.

You can check out "Figure It Out" on purevolume.

The album is due out September 19th and follows their recent EP, Hey There Delilah and full length, All That We Needed .

This band always seems to be opening for a band I go see. Which sucks, because they aren't very good.

Listening to the album now. Hopefully the lyrics don't still sound like they're written by a 12 year old, but with titles like "Come Back To Me", "Hate (I Really Don't Like You)", "Write You A Song" and "Gimme a Chance" I'm not real optimistic.

Props for naming a song "Friends Don't Let Friends Dial Drunk" though, even though the song is probably not that great.

Their songs are damn catchy but the lyrics always kill this band for me.

Ugh, can't get past track 4. Lyrics:

You and me, we like the same kinda music.
That's why we make a good you and me.
We got style, baby we know how to use it.
That's why we make a good you and me.

UGH with a capital UGH.

The verdict on the first 3 tracks is that they're pretty good musically, especially track 3, pretty awesome, but with the "hook" of "hate is a strong word, but I really really really don' tlike you" over and over I just can't take it. I am officially done giving this band any more chances.
