i was watching this at one point last night and it was when the best new artist was being annouced. they showed tom delonge when avenged sevenfold were getting the award and he looked pissed. as if he was sulking actually. it was amusing.

I saw the preshow with some of my friends-- EL OL EL. The definite highlight was seeing the camera pull out to Fall Out Boy with a monkey, we could not stop laughing. Then a little later My Chemical Romance played and I kinda wanted to hit someone.

i think it was Flea who once said "we could ride around in limos and do cocaine all day long, and we'd still be a million times more punk rock than any of these other bands". I didn't believe him 'till today.

Seriously the worst thing ever. I watched part of it. I guess the whole gimmick is that the show was supposed to be going poorly and all the fuck ups were intentional (see Jack Blacks opening) but if you came in half way through it would have just been very confusing.
I think I realized how sad it was when it wasn't clear if Jack White blowing off Jack Blacks request for a duet project was part of the act or just Jack White being a douche.

i can figure out who the bigger joke is. jared leto or panic at the citgo. i enjoyed when pete wentz talked about being jealous of the songs that panic! wrote, when he's the one who wrote all those songs. jared leto is a terrible actor, and an even worse musician, if you can even cal him that.
