Cracktober Fest: Leftover Crack / Dead to Me / Sainte Catherines / Citizen Fish

The bill has been announced for the upcoming 2006 edition of the Cracktober Fest tour. The shows are set to be headlined by Leftover Crack, with support from Dead to Me, the Sainte Catherines, and Citizen Fish on the West Coast.

The tour is set to kick off October 26th and run for exactly one month. Dates for the trip are expected shortly.

Leftover Crack continues to support their Alternative Tentacles full length Fuck World Trade.

i haven't seen dead to me or st c's yet. but im seeing dead to me next week and unless they manage to completely blow ass live i will see them again, and finally get to see st. c's. soooooo good.

hmmm. I'm going to see Dead To Me on Sept 13 with The Briggs at The Key Club so missing them won't be too much of a hit. The only thing that sucks is that the Showcase Theatre is way too fucking far away from where I live (Santa Monica).

ya, i live out in thousand oaks if you know where thats at, and i was gonna go to the key club show but thursday is better for me becasue of my work schedule and i go on vacation starting that weekend, so im gonna drive that extra half hour 45 minutes and go to the showcase.

i will hold my judegemtns on simi as a city, there are some cool kids but.... anyways your friend is pretty much dead on. A LOT of hot, dumb, rich, stuck up, whores and then there are some pretty cool ones but those are few and far between.

nice, if they don't end up coming to Baltimore hopefully this won't be like when i saw World/Inferno at the Black Cat a couple months ago

i thought if there was one band that could break a DC crowds tendency of standing around with arms folded it was World/Inferno....but somehow most of the crowd stood still quietly or in some cases complaining about Jack's hilarious ramblings which are part of the fun of a World/Inferno show

So I really liked Fuck World Trade at first but I listened to it again about a week ago and I wasn't that impressed...It seemed so amazing the first time through but now it just doesn't impress as much.

I got to say the 2 times i have seen Leftover Crack, they have really come off as pretentious assholes. The music is alright but it's no Choking Victim.

Yeah, I've heard a couple bottlegs, and they play REALLY bad live. But they are just one of those bands you get drunk to and get in a circle pit to, it's not like they are a band you watch in awe or anything.

Dead To Me? FUCK YES!!!

If this hits Chicago (or comes within a 6 hour drive of) I'm definitely going.
The last time I saw LOC was in September of 2004, and they were still pretty cool guys then. I have a medical condition which doesn't really allow me to be surrounded by morons (which is also a mental condition), so they let me sit on the side of the stage to record their set. I've heard since though that they've become huge cocks. However, if you judge bands that way, there would only be about 3 bands to promote.

Anyway, I should looked back at the top and now see that it says west coast. Goddamnit. Well, since it is a month-long tour, maybe DTM will play more.

I'm not sure but I think the tour covers the U.S. I think the article is just saying that Citizen Fish will be playing west coast dates.

I like all of the bands on the bill, but I'd be more excited than anything to see Dead To Me. "Cuban Ballerina" is probably my favorite release of the year.
